Inspiration: Tord Boontje

While photographing a vintage dress on my wall I accidently caught the silhouette of my Tord Boontje lampshade…well, if you can call it that. If you don’t already know of Tord Boontje, then I highly recommend a visit here. Not only is his work beautiful but behind each piece is a thought provoking concept. The Garland pictured above is available on Habitat’s website here. I wouldn’t usually spend £19 on a piece of light decoration but I couldn’t resist owning a little piece of Boontje, mass produced or not!
